Ann Marie Nacchio

Ann Marie Nacchio is MorningStarlett's frontwoman. She is a classically trained soprano. Her unique vocal style comes from the combination of her opera training with her love of classic heavy metal.

Ann Marie is also an accomplished Jazz singer and is availble for Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

Richie Castellano

MorningStarlett is the brainchild of Richie Castellano who serves as the band's guitarist and primary composer.

Here is the story of how MorningStarlett was created...

"I was on tour with Blue Oyster Cult. We were driving through the mountains in a rickety van that was too small for all of us." Danny Miranda and I had to share a seat that was only big enough for one of us. As the ride became more treacherous, and we decided there was no way we were going to be able to sleep through this hellish ride, Danny had the brilliant idea of using that moment, to introduce me to Black Sabbath's Heaven & Hell. We got the headphone splitter going, and I was hooked. After that, all I wanted to do was listen to Dio sing. I immediately started writing my own take on heavy metal."

Mixing the Ronnie James Dio influence with other elements including: Queen, Mozart, Bach, Tron, Gary Gygax, Mountain Dew, Breasts, Musashi Miyamoto and Shaolin Kung Fu; Richie began to forge the MorningStarlett sound.

Richie holds 2 degrees in Music, and is endorsed by Ernie Ball Guitars, Engl Amps, DiMarzio Pickups & TC Electronic Effects. When he's not playing with MorningStarlett, he is touring the world with Heavy Metal pioneers, Blue Oyster Cult.

Andy Ascolese

Like his revolutionary ancestors, Andy Ascolese leads MorningStarlett into war.

As the drummers before him, when the chaos and noise in the thick of battle renders the Colonel’s shouts ineffective, Andy plays his drums to relay the orders to the troops. The beats of Andy’s drums indicate when MorningStarlett should regroup, advance, make ready, engage battle and hopefully, never retreat.

As the drummer, Andy is sent as a go-between across enemy lines to negotiate terms of surrender and to deliver and bring back any hostages or prisoners to be exchanged.  Whilst blindfolded in the enemy camp, Andy’s hidden agenda is to find out as much as he can about enemy numbers and the layout, disposition, and potential weaknesses of the camp.  This is obviously a delicate and dangerous undertaking and requires skills above and beyond musicality and mastery of the technique required to beat complex rhythms on the drums.

So be wary, for when you speak with the drummer, you are speaking to the enemy’s messenger.

Walter Bianco

Walter Bianco is a man of few words, but many notes.

By day, he is the audio mixer for a popular commercial firm. By night, he is a shredding machine.

Walter has a Bachelor's degree in Studio Composition, a Master's degree in Wailing and a Doctorate in Face Melting.

Walter currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife Sarah, and their newborn son, Iggy.

Walter rides a Harley and plays a Les Paul through a Marshall.

Fuck Yeah.

Russ Jones

Upon discovering metal, Russ was struck by just how heavy it was!  He wanted to learn how to create such amazingly heavy music, and went down to his local musical instrument shop to buy himself a guitar.  While there, he chanced to pick up a bass; noticing that it weighed much more than a guitar, he realized that it was thus heavier than a guitar, and purchased it on the spot.  He took it home, plugged it in, turned his amp all the way up, and began to play.

The entire room shook as the metal poured forth from the speakers like the thunder of a thousand horses galloping across the plains bearing mighty warriors.  Pushed to its limits, the amplifier finally exploded, giving forth a mighty bolt of lightning that lept like the spear of Odin himself directly into Russ's heart.  When he awoke, he looked down at himself and found his hair long, his body clad entirely in leather and steel, and in his heart a new purpose: to help create the heaviest, most epic band of all time: Morning Starlett...
